What is the production process of IML packaging?
In mold labeling is the most advanced labeling method for plastic packaging (IML process). This is a complex method that requires inserting pre printed labels into the cavity side of the tool. This indicates that labeling is done before packaging production rather than after, so there is no need for separate adhesive sheets. After cooling, the label and container merge together to form an impenetrable whole, and then the decorated components are ejected.
